In a focused effort to prioritize mental well-being among those who serve on the frontlines, Rise and Restore conducted a mental health awareness camp within an Indian Army unit in Kashmir. The session created a safe and respectful space for personnel to engage in meaningful conversations around stress, emotional resilience, and the often-unspoken realities of psychological strain in high-intensity environments.
Through interactive discussions and guided sessions, the initiative emphasized that conditions such as PTSD are real, valid, and manageable with the right awareness and support. The program aimed to equip personnel with practical tools for informed decision-making, emotional regulation, and peer supportβreinforcing that mental strength is as critical as physical preparedness.
This engagement stands as a step towards normalizing mental health conversations within uniformed forces, fostering a culture where seeking support is considered strength,Β not vulnerability.
