Born from
listening.
Built to act.
From the villages of Kupwara to communities across Assam — we work where care is needed most, guided by empathy and evidence.
What does it truly mean
to care?
"Turning stories into action, and challenges into collective solutions."
Rise and Restore began with a question — what does it truly mean to care for a community beyond statistics and systems? What started as a small effort to listen soon grew into a commitment to act. From conversations with women in remote villages of Kupwara to engaging with frontline personnel in high-intensity environments, the organization was shaped by stories of resilience, silence, and the urgent need for accessible care.
Guided by these lived experiences, Rise and Restore works at the intersection of mental health, maternal well-being, and social justice. Whether through awareness camps, research-driven interventions, or collaborations with healthcare providers and institutions, each initiative is rooted in empathy and evidence. Alongside this, the organization actively conducts gender sensitization workshops and awareness programs for defence and uniformed personnel, schools, colleges, universities, and community health workers — aimed at fostering inclusive perspectives, reducing bias, and promoting dignity across all spaces.
The journey has been one of building trust — creating environments where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported. By turning stories into action and challenges into collective solutions, Rise and Restore continues to grow as a platform for healing, inclusion, and hope — one community at a time.
